Painted Furniture - Project: Tutorial!
Are you just starting out with your upcycling venture, or maybe you are well on your way to becoming an upcycling legend but just looking for some more inspiration? Then look no further, here are a few of my favourite You Tube creations. You can check out my You Tube channel for lots of creative, colourful chalk paint tutorials! (Please note, this post contains affiliate links).
With so many colours choose from and an array of different techniques, I like to try something different each time I paint a new piece of furniture.
I am a content creator for Dixie Belle and so most of my projects are completed using their awesome paint. I have listed all of the products in the You Tube Vid descriptions, but you can also find them here -
Okay, so let's get started with the tutorials...
Here are a few of my favourites!
My latest and definitely one of my favourites! This is a very contemporary and modern take on furniture. Why not throw a little abstract art onto your latest furniture project for a one of a kind piece? Find out how to here!
I remember visiting old Country Houses with my Grandad as a teen. It was the only time during my angsty teen years that I truly felt relaxed and inspired. I loved imaging the history of the homes and the decor around me.
This olde worlde piece was inspired by those lovely Sunday's with my Grandad. https://youtu.be/IlPYbJMT_yU
Check out those bright, vibrant colours, reminiscent of a Sunny day in the Mediternnean!
This bright, boho inspired piece would truly make a unique addition to your home and creates lots of colour and character too!
Now who has nostalgic trips to the Seaside with their family when they were kids? I never actually particularly liked rock, but it was so entwined with visiting the Seaside that I just had to have a piece each time we went through.
This pastel side table is inspired by the fun colours of the seaside and you can learn how to get this look!
Now here is something a for those of you who prefer all things rustic. Inspired by old barn doors, this piece is full of character and history. https://youtu.be/zWVyRWCmEYw
There are just a few of my favourites, but there are plenty more tutorials on my channel with lots of different looks!
Watch out for more regular content too. Vlogs are coming to my channel this week where I will be covering many of your questions, as well as more frequent paint tutorials.
